What are the tension threads?

How is the treatment carried out?

The tensor threads are filaments made of biocompatible materials. The most common is polydioxanone (PDO), a resorbable, anti-allergic material widely used in cardiac surgery sutures. Due to its effectiveness, it is one of the most demanded anti aging treatments.
In addition, the action of the tensor threads goes further, since it also works at the subcutaneous level. In this sense, it must be taken into account that polydioxanone stimulates the natural production of elastin and collagen around the inserted threads. The tensor threads are introduced at the dermal level under local anesthesia with the help of a very fine needle. After placing the thread, the needle is removed, leaving it in the desired position.
